China pet food exports exceeds 100M$ in April

The General Administration of Customs announced the national dog and cat pet food export data in April 2023.

The total export value of the industry in April was about 108 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 2.84%.
In March, was 106 million US dollars, a year-on-year 9.63% decrease.
The cumulative amount from January to February 2023 was US$153 million, a year-on-year decrease of 25.66%.

On the positive side, the export value of canned products in April was 4.74 million US dollars, a steady increase of 21.24% year-on-year.
The export value of non-canned products was 103 million US dollars, an increase of 2.12% year-on-year.
